Estimates for projects are available on request. All estimates are carefully tailored made to the client’s requirements and budget. Each project is different and therefore requires costing on an individual basis; please see below for an indication of prices.

Cardboard Sketch Models, for architects and planning proposals.
Prices start from £360.

Small House Portrait Models, displayed in an oak box-frame.
Prices start at around 1,980 including framing.

Medium Sized Architectural Models, showing the front façade of a building, with a blank back. Prices start from around £2,500.

Table Top Architectural Models, displayed on a base plinth. Prices start from around £5,000.

All above samples include VAT

Additional costs such as direct travel expenses, delivery charges, and the manufacturing of bespoke Perspex display cases are taken into account when preparing an estimate.

About Ben Taggart

Ben studied Graphic Design and Filmmaking at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art from 1987 to 1990, specialising in model animation, prior to that he had attended a Foundation course at the Central School of Art & Design. On graduation Ben started work immediately for Gerry Judah Studio Ltd. There he worked as a designer and modelmaker with clients including; Robinson Lambie Nairn, BBC 1 and BBC 2 presentation graphics departments and Channel 4 graphics. In the mid-1990s Ben worked freelance for a wide range of companies from architects to theatre designers before starting his own business.

Ben Taggart Modelmaking & Design was founded in September 1992 specialising in the construction of models of listed buildings and heritage projects. Other work over the years has included architectural drawing, archaeological drawing, design and planning, graphic design, concept sculpture design and research into historic houses.
